What Personal Data We Collect

We collect no personal data from web visitors who generally browse the pages of this website.

We collect personal data from people who choose to create an account with us. This personal data includes the individual’s first name, last name, email address, and login password.

For customers who order product(s) from us, we collect the customer’s billing information. This includes:

  • Billing first name and last name
  • Billing company name (optional)
  • Billing address
  • Billing phone number
  • Billing email address

For customers who order product(s) from us containing a “domain license key”, we also ask the customer for and collect the customer’s website’s domain name.

We do not store credit card information or payment details from any customer. That information is routed directly from the customer’s browser to our payment processor (Stripe). However, we may store the last 4 digits of a customer’s credit card number, along with expiry date and card type, as part of a token that is used on subsequent purchases by the same customer.

For all of our customers, we maintain historical records of their past purchases of our products on this website. This includes product name, product price, product quantity, sales tax, discount, shipping cost, and other information related to each purchase.

How Long We Retain Your Data

For customers who do business with us, all of the above mentioned personal data (e.g. account information, billing information, past purchases, etc) are retained by our website for an indefinite amount of time.

Contact Forms

Our contact form requests from the user their name, their email address, and a brief message. Although this information passes through the server, it is not stored anywhere on our server(s), nor is it forwarded to any third parties. The information is used to assemble an email message that is then sent to one of our administrative email addresses. The information is then permanently discarded by the server.

Cookies And Tracking Technologies

If you visit our login page(s), we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up a cookie (i.e. randomly generated token issued by the server) on your browser. This token is a randomly generated text string that carries no personally identifiable information on its own, but is temporarily associated with your logged-in account. In subsequent browser connections to the server, such as during the fetching of a page, the browser gives this cookie to the server, so that the server knows the connection is associated with your account. The server can then output page content tailored to you. The cookie lasts for two days, but if you log out of your account, the cookie will be immediately removed.

We use Google Analytics to collect information about the use of our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often you visit the website, which pages you visited when doing so, and which other sites you used prior to coming to our website. However, we do not merge the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable data. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to and use of the website is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google collects and processes data specifically in connection with Google Analytics here. Further information about your option to opt-out of these analytics services is available here.

Who We Share Your Data With

In exceptional circumstances, we may disclose or allow government and law enforcement officials access to your personal data, in response to a subpoena, search warrant or court order (or similar requirement), or in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, with or without notice to you. Such disclosure or access may occur if we believe in good faith that: (a) we are legally compelled to do so; (b) disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding actual or suspected illegal activity, fraud, or other wrongdoing; or (c) such disclosure is required to protect our legitimate business interests, including the security or integrity of our products and services.

For customers who order product(s) from us, we share the customer’s billing information with Stripe, our payment processor. For an itemized breakdown of this billing information, see above.
